Job Summary
Picking product and case pick, palletize, hand stack, and stretch wrap product as required. Safely operate material handling equipment including electric sit-down forklifts. Assist in cycle counting, inventory control, and resolving inventory discrepancies while meeting Good Manufacturing Practices. Work the B Shift (Fri/Sat 5:30am-4pm and Mon/Tue 4:30pm-3am) at a warehouse handling food products in Frankfort, Indiana. Receive on-the-job training and earn $19.00 per hour plus $1.00 for B Shift work.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Adequate math skills
- Ability to recognize and read location codes and product codes
- Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
- Must be able to work B Shift - Fri/Sat 5:30am-4pm and Mon/Tue 4:30pm-3am
- Must be able to lift product and cases
- Must be able to safely operate material handling equipment
- Must be able to perform palletizing, hand stacking, and stretch wrapping
- Must be able to assist in cycle counting and inventory control
- Must be able to assist in resolving inventory discrepancies
- Must pass employment and education verification
- Must pass motor vehicle records check
- Must pass road test
- Must pass background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned
- Must agree to work in a Drug Free workplace
