Job Summary
Provide case management services to assigned case load in compliance with Bureau of Prisons regulations; manage and maintain resident files ensuring confidentiality; assist residents’ success in programs; conduct intake and provide orientation; complete IPP within 10 days of arrival; prepare Individual Re-Entry Plans; coordinate reentry programs with CTS contracts; participate in Program Review Team; provide written case notes and terminal reports; verify attendance at treatment sessions; conduct weekly meetings and bi-weekly progress reviews; assist with release planning; develop activities to minimize idle time; document medications; network with community services; attend mandatory meetings; on-call on weekends; potential local travel; complies with laws and contract requirements; Equal Opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social, human services, criminal justice or behavioral science from an accredited college or university
- At least one year of experience in human services, corrections, or community-based services; work experience may substitute for education; total five years of work experience can substitute
- Valid driver’s license or state ID, Social Security card, and US citizenship, permanent resident, or other lawful status
- Ability to pass federal background check
