Job Summary
Case Manager position supporting disaster survivors, serving as the primary point of contact to assess unmet needs and assist in developing Recovery Plans. Responsibilities include coordinating required services, building relationships with community members and stakeholders, representing the organization at community events, developing outreach strategies, gathering and communicating feedback, coordinating community engagement programs, serving as a point of contact for inquiries, facilitating open communication, monitoring trends to inform planning, collaborating with internal teams, and preparing reports on engagement efforts and outcomes. Required skills include strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal abilities, independence and collaboration across departments, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel, empathy and cultural sensitivity, strategic thinking, organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Education and experience requirements include an Associates degree and at least one year of publicly facing case management experience; experience with data entry and event planning is a plus; ability to pass a background check.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in social work, public administration, communications, or a related field
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in publicly facing case management
- Must be able to clear a criminal background check
