Job Summary
Provide case management and practical assistance to victims of crime and abuse within the Family Court context, including trauma-informed crisis intervention, information about court processes and relief options (such as Orders of Protection), advocacy with Family Court personnel and the criminal justice system, safety planning, risk assessment, referrals to shelters and supports, and assistance with relocation, housing, and emergency needs; requires collaboration with multiple partners and competencies in handling sensitive situations, bilingual abilities strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working with survivors of domestic violence.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also independently generating tasks.
