Job Summary
The Case Manager plays a crucial role in providing compassionate support and guidance to youth in care. Responsibilities include overseeing comprehensive case services to ensure adherence to protocols, maintaining meticulous documentation for compliance with VisionQuest, state, and federal regulations, timely submission of reports, coordinating with service providers and families, supervising youth activities, protecting confidentiality, and ensuring ethical, professional team-based service delivery. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related fields (preferred), relevant case-management experience, ability to work flexible hours, CPR/First Aid and CPI certification, a valid driver’s license, background checks, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Strong writing, communication, and collaboration skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace are also needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields strongly preferred
- Child welfare and/or case management experience strongly encouraged
- A minimum of one year of related work experience preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Flexible schedule (evening, weekends, holidays)
- Cleared tuberculosis test results
- May be required to pass a drug test
- Cleared background checks from appropriate entities, including Child Abuse and Neglect and FBI criminal background
- Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive to facilitate program services as required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds infrequently, stand/walk 50% of the day, and perform physical tasks as needed
