Job Summary
Conduct client assessments, develop housing plans, and maintain regular contact to monitor progress and needs. Provide guidance and counseling to residents, make referrals to external social services, and prepare applications for housing. Document resident progress, ensure form completion, consult with staff, and input client track data. Requires a Bachelor's in Social Work or enrolled MSW, computer literacy, and excellent communication skills. Full-time position at $50,000 within the Eliza Shirley House Resolution Center.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, or enrolled in MSW program
- Must be computer literate and skilled in Word and Excel
- Must be able to negotiate the Internet
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must understand and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA State Police Criminal Record Check
- PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check
- Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training
