Job Summary
Supervise Supervised Release Program participants according to their assigned tier by conducting check-ins, reinforcing expectations, and addressing barriers to court attendance. Provide clinically-informed case management services by orchestrating referrals for substance use, mental health, trauma, housing, education, and employment needs. Monitor compliance with supervision requirements while maintaining accurate, timely data entry and submitting court reports on compliance, noncompliance, and mandatory programming. Conduct outreach to participants, collateral contacts, and defense attorneys to maximize program adherence. Co-facilitate pro-social and psycho-educational groups in collaboration with clinicians. Maintain professional relationships with judges, attorneys, and court staff while participating in regular supervision and staff trainings. Report to Supervising Case Managers with a focus on consistent cross-team collaboration and resource allocation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years direct practice experience (e.g. therapeutic or case management)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to work effectively independently and as part of a highly interdependent, multi-disciplinary team within a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Professional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a variety of program stakeholders, including judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, court staff, and site partner agencies
- Openness to work collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds in a culturally-competent manner
- Full-time in-person work
- Weekend and evening hours
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in pretrial, court-based, or criminal legal system
- Experience working within a specialized branch of service provision like substance use treatment, mental health services, co-occurring disorders, or adolescent development
- Experience using trauma-informed and strength-based approaches
- Bilingual (English-Spanish)
