Job Summary
Provide therapeutic activities and companionship to individuals in skilled nursing facilities, focusing on social, emotional, and behavioral well-being. Build meaningful relationships with seniors while ensuring they are treated with dignity and support throughout aging. Maintain professional documentation using EHR systems and coordinate care for patients with Alzheimer's disease. This part-time or full-time role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and preferred qualifications including an LSW, LPC, or MFT. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Diploma or GED required
- Must have experience working with Alzheimer patients
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with current automobile insurance meeting state minimum liability requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Desire to improve quality of life for aging adults
- High level of commitment, dependability, and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience as an STNA, CNA, or in a nursing or long-term care setting is preferred
- Prior experience in social work, counseling, human services, or a related field is preferred
- Previous EHR system use, and professional documentation experience are helpful
