Job Summary
Support individuals with mental illness to live independently in their chosen community under direct supervision, while providing specialty area knowledge to the treatment team. Drive clients to appointments and groups using a personal vehicle or company car. Serve as a primary support case manager for the San Mateo Mobile Crisis Response Team, delivering crisis services to reduce law enforcement involvement and hospitalizations. Work on-call shifts with varying days as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduation or G.E.D. equivalent
- three (3) years of direct services in mental health or community services
- Associate's degree
- two (2) years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Social Services
- at least 1 year of experience in the area of specialty served
- Valid and current driver's license
- personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups
