Job Summary
Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) position at Signature Health, primarily community-based, reporting to the Supervisor and Manager of Behavioral Health Services. You will develop and execute client treatment plans, provide transportation to access resources, maintain professional boundaries, support sober networks, collaborate with treatment teams, assist with access to educational, medical, vocational, housing, and daily living resources, monitor client engagement, provide transportation to appointments, and perform client charting per Medicaid/CARF/professional standards. Requires Ohio driver’s license and BLS certification; preferred Bachelor’s degree in a related social services field and 1–3+ years of case management or relevant experience; familiarity with ASAM levels of care and community resources is expected. Work is primarily in an office/clinical environment with possible evening/extended hours, and may involve field-based activities in the community. The role also includes crisis intervention, community outreach, quality assurance participation, and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid unencumbered Ohio driver’s license and proof of driver’s insurance required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related social services field preferred.
- 1-3+ years of previous case management or relevant experience preferred.
- CDCA preferred.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft, Excel, etc.
- Knowledge of the community, community organizations, and community resources.
- Knowledge of ASAM levels of care, ability to assist client in obtaining residential, detox, and supported housing services in the community.
