Job Summary
Provide integrated counseling and case management services to engage young adults, promote personal growth, and ensure housing stability. Collaborate with youth to assess strengths and challenges, develop individual service plans, and regularly meet to track progress toward goals. Advocate for clients with outside service providers while maintaining confidential records and ensuring file compliance with regulatory requirements. De-escalate crises and attend to emergencies following agency protocol. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong trauma-informed care skills, and flexibility for weekend, evening, and holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- one (1) year of experience in a residential setting working with adolescents
- Strong skills in leading groups
- taking the lead in collaborating with internal and external departments
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working directly with young people through approaches emphasizing resiliency, strength-based youth development, and trauma-informed care
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Excellent verbal, written, and problem-solving abilities
