Job Summary
Conduct benefit investigations, enroll eligible patients in financial assistance programs, and coordinate drug delivery while managing complex issues to ensure seamless therapy access. Engage patients and families to build long-term relationships, provide education on insurance options and limitations, and collaborate with healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, and internal teams to remove barriers. Document call details with a focus on data integrity and leverage CRM reporting tools to make strategic territory-level decisions. Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders, including Patient Support Services, Sales, and Market Access partners, while ensuring full compliance with Sanofi policies. Spanish proficiency required for direct communication with patients in Florida and Puerto Rico.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2+ years patient-facing role experience in case management, reimbursement, patient advocacy, or provider's office
- Experience with engaging patients and caregivers managing rare or chronic conditions
- Professional-level Spanish proficiency (verbal and written)
- Comprehensive understanding of the reimbursement process, billing and coding, insurance plans, payer trends, financial assistance programs, charitable access and related resources
- Excellent phone communication with a strong service-oriented mindset
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel within the US, including occasional nights and weekends (up to 10%)
- Flexibility to adjust working hours based on business needs and team coverage requirements
