Job Summary
Inpatient RN Care Manager provides professional, comprehensive, patient-centric care management for at-risk patients in an acute care environment. Responsibilities include assessment and planning, coordination of care, resource utilization management and/or review, discharge planning, documentation of interventions, regulatory compliance and patient advocacy to ensure care is appropriate, timely, and setting-appropriate. Requires ADN nursing education with Alaska RN license, and 2 years of acute care experience in a medical-surgical or inpatient setting; IRR or annual competency testing in Utilization Review. Preferred qualifications include BSN within 3 years of hire, national specialty certification, and 1 year of care management or utilization review experience or completion of TIPS/Case Management Orientation. Location: Providence Alaska Medical Center, Anchorage, AK; Schedule: Full-time, Day shift; base pay range $44.16-$77.58/hour with potential additional compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing upon hire
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
- 2 years of Acute care experience in Medical Surgical or Inpatient setting
- IRR or annual competency testing in Utilization Review
