Job Summary
Case Manager position for an RN in Bellevue, IA. Role leverages clinical nursing experience to develop planning for patient healthcare needs and acts as patient advocate. Oncology, chronic condition, and behavioral health specialties exist; minimum 2 years in relevant acute inpatient settings preferred. Schedule is full-time with no weekends or nights, in-office during orientation with option for hybrid after orientation (two days home/three days in office). Requires unrestricted RN license and successful completion of orientation; strong communication and computer skills are essential. The role may involve rare travel to patients' homes or hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed/certified medical professional with unrestricted license/certification in state of office location or reciprocal licensure
- Must be an RN
- Successful completion of case management orientation program
- Minimum of 2 years full-time acute inpatient setting or specialty area (ICU, ER, Oncology, NICU, Acute Rehab)
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic typing/computer knowledge with minimum keyboarding speed of 35 WPM
- Previous case management or insurance industry experience helpful but not required
