Job Summary
Case Manager at Walton Academy for Growth and Change in DeFuniak Springs, FL. Responsible for administering, developing and facilitating the completion of case plans and treatment programs for youth in residential mental health and substance abuse services, as part of the Rite of Passage program. Reports to the Director of Student Services. Requires a Bachelors degree in a related field (Master;s degree preferred) and prior case management experience with juveniles. Must pass background checks, drug screen, physical and TB test, maintain confidentiality, and be able to work in excess of 40 hours per week as needed. On-site role with opportunities to contribute to a positive, safe, and supportive environment for youth while pursuing growth within the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in related field
- Masters degree preferred
- Prior case management experience required including three years experience with juveniles
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical and TB test
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Able to work in excess of 40 hours per week as needed
