Job Summary
Assess patient needs and develop personalized care plans for oncology patients while coordinating care across providers, services, and healthcare settings. Advocate for patients to ensure effective communication among care teams, monitor progress, and adjust care plans as needed. Connect patients with appropriate resources to support their overall well-being throughout their healthcare journey. This role requires a compassionate Oncology RN with 3-5 years of acute oncology experience to work remotely from a secure home office meeting strict internet speed requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in your state of residence
- 3-5 years of acute oncology nursing experience
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) or equivalent
- Chemotherapy certification
- Direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 7 feet of your computer
- Minimum download speed of 25 mbs download and 3 mbs upload
- Quiet, secure and private designated home virtual work location
- Workspace compliant with CVS Health and HIPAA guidelines
- Ability to work within the state and city where they have confirmed they currently live
- Own workspace furniture (desk or standing desk)
- Commitment to obtaining required internet speeds and adhering to all Work From Home requirements
- Comfortable setting up and using multiple monitors and navigating multiple applications simultaneously
- Ability to communicate on digital channels such as via email, calendar invites, Teams messaging, and virtual meetings
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications or similar (Google Workspace)
- Ability to Log in to secure systems (e.g., VPN, EHR portal)
- Ability to lock a computer screen when unattended
- Ability to manage strong passwords
- Ability to recognize suspicious emails or links
- Ability to resolve common technical issues independently, such as: restarting an application when frozen, resolving internet connection issues, and contacting IT for unresolved technical issues
