Job Summary
Case Manager Registered Nurse role focusing on coordinating inpatient and observation patient care, assessing psychosocial and discharge needs, developing and executing care plans, and liaising with physicians, nurses, social services, and outside agencies to ensure safe transitions and high-quality outcomes. The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, use of InterQual criteria to evaluate care progression, and effective communication throughout care episodes. Requires RN license, an associates degree in nursing, and BLS certification; 2+ years in case management or 3+ years in clinical settings are preferred. Masters in Nursing and InterQual experience are preferred. Sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates. Located at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in Case Management OR 3+ years experience in a clinical setting
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) of practice according to law and regulation
- BLS
