Job Summary
Provide skills support for participants to articulate personal goals and prevent crisis situations. Conduct individualized interventions in living, learning, and social environments to identify strengths and barriers to recovery. Assist in developing interpersonal, community coping, and functional skills, including personal financial management, medication self-monitoring, and symptom tracking. Teach strategies to reduce behavioral health symptom effects and help participants recognize emotional triggers. This role requires a bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field, supervised by a licensed clinician, and includes passing a criminal background check.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- qualified and demonstrate competency and fidelity to the evidence-based practices used
- Be supervised by a licensed clinician trained and certified in the evidence-based practice
- Have a bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field
- Have the level of education and experience required by the evidence-based modality employed
- Pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check and applicable HHSC registry checks
