Job Summary
Case Manager (RN) coordinates patient care with the healthcare team to support Harrison County Hospital’s mission in a PRN, days-based role with 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday. Requires a nursing degree (BSN preferred), five years of nursing experience across settings, and two years of management experience. Must understand the health care financial system and demonstrate strong communication, time management, teaching, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with multi-tasking and resource management skills. The hospital serves Harrison County and Crawford counties in Indiana and Meade County in Kentucky.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
- BSN preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years previous nursing experience
- Two years previous management experience
- Knowledge of health care financial system
- Computer operations skills
- Time management skills
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Multi-task capability
- Ability to plan and implement new programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
