Job Summary
Case Manager at Compass Connections responsible for managing a caseload of children and families, performing crisis intervention, coordinating referrals, service planning and documentation, liaising with stakeholders including immigration court, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and licensing standards. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or a related field, 1 year of related experience or training in crisis intervention, and certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Emergency Behavior Intervention. Responsibilities include maintaining ongoing child safety assessments, conducting weekly contacts with children and families, participating in supervision, traveling between locations, and adhering to safety and ethical standards while supporting Foster Care Programs and immigrant populations. Proficiency in English and Spanish, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral sciences, human services, or social services field
- 1-year related experience and/or training including experience working in crisis intervention
- First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention certifications
- Ability to meet federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards
- Willingness to travel between locations within the office
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to work with diverse populations including immigrant families
- Proficiency in documenting progress and maintaining records
- Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct in all interactions
