Job Summary
Case Manager responsibilities include assisting attorneys in developing settlements, preparing documents and correspondence, daily client contact via telephone and in person, obtaining medical records and documents to support injury/liability positions, coordinating with insurance carriers and healthcare providers, managing case files from intake to close under attorney supervision, and maintaining organized case files. The role requires being highly organized, customer-focused, empathetic, with strong writing and communication skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and on-site presence in Philadelphia, PA. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and prior experience in a legal or personal injury/insurance setting is welcomed. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing at least 35 wpm is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager preferred
- At least 2 years of working in a legal position or insurance adjuster experience preferred
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Extensive computer and database expertise, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and type no less than 35 wpm
