Job Summary
Manage case files from intake to closing under attorney direction while maintaining organized records and supporting settlement development. Order medical records from providers, communicate with clients and healthcare providers, and obtain documents necessary to support injury and liability positions. Interact with insurance carriers to secure records and account balances, prepare comprehensive demands, and present case synopses when required. Perform other related duties as assigned to meet business needs. This role requires working on a varied caseload with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of working as an insurance adjuster or pre-litigation paralegal
- Must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
- Extensive computer and database expertise, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and type no less than 35 wpm
- This role is on-site
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager preferred
