Job Summary
Case Manager for Mission Australia’s Families Together Program delivering intensive, strengths-based in-home support to families experiencing complex challenges. Responsibilities include home visits and outreach-based support, comprehensive assessments, developing tailored case plans, strengthening parenting capacity and family functioning, identifying and addressing child safety risks, coordinating with internal and external services, maintaining accurate case notes and compliance, and flexible, potentially after-hours support. Requirements include a qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare or similar, demonstrated case-management experience with families and children, knowledge of domestic violence/mental health/child development, a current driver’s licence with willingness to travel, First Aid, and police checks with clearance to work with children/vulnerable people. A pool car is provided for outreach during business hours, with in-home and community-based engagement across NSW towns Brewarrina and Walgett.
Required Qualifications
- Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare, Community Services or similar
- Demonstrated experience in case management, particularly with families and children
- Knowledge of issues like domestic violence, mental health, and child development
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel
- First Aid Certificate
- National police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people
