Job Summary
Case Manager at North Central Correctional Complex in Marion, OH. Responsibilities include reviewing detailed background files, interviewing and testing inmates to analyze and recommend programs, maintaining a re-entry accountability plan, providing direct aid and counseling for inmates’ personal needs and problems, delivering individual and group counseling on educational, vocational, personal, and social adjustment topics, evaluating progress and modifying programs as needed, coordinating guidance and development techniques, conducting training sessions to improve staff proficiency, and recommending medical or psychiatric evaluations when warranted.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in counseling or related field required and one (1) year related experience preferred
- Four years of correctional experience may be considered in lieu of education
- Must have license or certification as required by governing state agency
- A valid driver’s license in the state of Ohio with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management
- Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements
