Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of long-term and complex Workers' Compensation claims, developing tailored recovery, treatment, and return-to-work strategies for injured workers facing medical, vocational, or psychosocial barriers. Review medical information to identify opportunities for improved recovery and work capacity while building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Ensure claims are managed in line with relevant legislation, scheme requirements, and organisational policies, maintaining accurate claim records to meet key service and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience managing long-term and/or complex Workers' Compensation claims
- Strong knowledge of the relevant Workers' Compensation scheme and claims processes
- Experience supporting injured workers with complex recovery and return-to-work needs
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- The ability to manage sensitive or challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
