Case Manager Lead, Foundational Community Supports (FCS) Res Specialist

Job Summary

Coordinate Foundational Community Supports program operations and coach staff to ensure high-quality service delivery for low-income youth and young adults. Develop individualized, strengths-based service plans and transport clients using an employer-provided vehicle as an authorized driver. Build collaborative relationships with funding liaisons, community partners, and internal teams to plan and facilitate life skills workshops, job readiness training, and housing support activities. Maintain program fidelity by completing contract reviews, audits, and monthly billing while carrying a caseload of up to 15 clients. Participate in an on-call rotation for FC Permanency and research best practices to maintain a specialized resource library.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, administration or related field or other equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years of experience working with teens or young adults in foster care, group care, housing, education, juvenile justice, anti-poverty, vocational support, mental health, chemical dependency and/or homelessness fields
  • Ability to teach effective independence skills for a variety of learning styles and to plan supportive activities
  • Comfortable leading and presenting training sessions to other teams online or in person
  • Strong youth engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including skills in coaching and giving/receiving feedback
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Current state approved First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current approved HIV blood borne pathogens training
  • Prefer knowledge of and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.)
  • Ability to speak any language in addition to English
  • Must be 21+
  • Must have possessed a driver's license for at least 3 years
  • Must pass a drug screen that will test for impairing substances (including marijuana)
  • Must meet YGS Driving Record Standards (no more than two vehicle related suspension(s) and/or reinstatement(s) in the last three years, no more than two moving violations and/or accidents in the last three years, no Major Violations in the last five years)
  • Must not have more than 3 DUI, DWI, OUI, OWI, BUI, Administrative Per Se, or Refusing to Test forentiretyof driving history
  • Must not have more than 3 Driving with a suspended/revoked license
  • Must not have Hit andRun resulting in bodily injury or death
  • Must not have Manslaughter/felony death by motor vehicle
  • Must comply with abuse prevention policies, maintaining appropriate boundaries, completing required training, reporting suspicious or inappropriate behavior, and complying with mandated reporting requirements
  • Must ensure staff are properly screened, trained, supervised and held accountable to the organization's abuse risk management standards

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required in psychology, social work, administration or related field or other equivalent experience
  • One year of experience supervising employees or full-time interns, volunteers or national service members (AmeriCorps, etc.)
  • Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful
  • Prefer knowledge of and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.)
