Case Manager Intensive Behavioral Health Services

Job Summary
Support the admission process for the Intensive Behavioral Health Services program by entering referrals, obtaining consents, and securing authorizations. Manage a small caseload of children and youth in non-cluster schools while ensuring collaborative communication with the treatment team. Requires proficient reading, writing, and PC skills including Microsoft Office and EHR familiarity, along with one year of Child Welfare and Behavioral Health experience. A B.S. or B.A. in human services is preferred. This role is part of Gemma Services' IBHS program at the Mt. Airy location, focusing on safety, nonviolence, and trauma recovery for children and families.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills
- Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills
- Proficient PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Familiarity of utilizing EHR
- Detail oriented
- Excellent organization and task management skills
- Experience collaborating with others in a professional capacity
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the Child Welfare and Behavioral Health field
Desired Qualifications
- A B.S. or B.A. degree in a human service-related field
