Job Summary
Case Manager III at Heartland Family Service provides direct care and case management in a residential substance abuse treatment facility for women and their children. Responsibilities include supervising residents 24/7, conducting intake, implementing and updating case management plans, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting education and family groups. The role requires collaboration with the Program Coordinator and Lead Case Manager, a preference for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least two years of experience in the human services field, and preferred bilingual Spanish abilities. The position operates on a part-time overnight weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) in Omaha, NE, on-site, with compensation based on experience within the stated hourly range.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Two or more years’ experience in human services field
- Alcohol/drug abuse experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license/ acceptable driving record
- Bilingual-Spanish speaking abilities preferred
- Applicants who identify as being in recovery have a minimum of two (2) years of sustained/continuous recovery to support well-being and effectiveness in this role
