Job Summary
Case Manager II for a 24/7 domestic violence shelter, focusing on crisis phone response, intake and service planning, direct case management and crisis counseling for shelter clients and their children, supervision of interns/volunteers, and coordination with community resources. Responsibilities include documenting client interactions, developing individual service plans, conducting groups, ensuring safety during shifts (Fridays and Saturdays 3pm-11pm), and supporting clients with resume creation and job postings. Requires flexible availability, evening/weekend/holiday work, and adherence to agency training and safety protocols. Must maintain driving eligibility and relevant certifications; role emphasizes trauma-informed care, data entry, and collaboration with stakeholders to improve client outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five (5) years of internship or work experience with those experiencing domestic violence or similar work
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field with at least one year of experience preferred
- Valid AZ driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to show proof of registration/insurance
- Level One Fingerprint clearance or ability to obtain fingerprint clearance; must maintain clearance
- CPR and First Aid certification and current training
- Annual TB test required for position
- Willingness to attend Sharing the Experience training within six months of employment
