Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in the human services field
• •Master's degree in the human services field preferred
• •Valid driver's license
• •Driving record in accordance with agency standards
• •Minimum 2+ years of working with children and families
• •Knowledge of Community resources
• •Knowledge of TCI Principles
• •Knowledge of Trauma Informed Care Practices
• •Knowledge of State and Federal regulations
• •Ability to perform under strong demands in fast-paced, diverse environment
• •Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• •Ability to perform at a high level of autonomy, with minimal supervision
• •Ability to work on multiple tasks, while maintaining a high attention to detail, accuracy and quality

• •Ability to provide support documents as necessary (physical/TB, driver license, auto insurance)

• •Ability to identify and assess client and family needs
• •Ability to coordinate, and provide necessary services and/or treatment
• •Ability to provide in-home supportive services to clients
• •Ability to complete required assessments
• •Ability to assist individuals and families by helping to articulate goals and providing needed information
• •Ability to provide Behavioral Health Overlay Services (BHOS) interventions under the supervision of a licensed clinician
• •Ability to uphold the Glove House Standard of Care
• •Ability to be guided by organizational values and trauma informed practice in all interactions
• •Ability to demonstrate understanding of the four dimensions of safety and can identify gaps
• •Ability to treat all children, families, staff and ancillary providers with respect and courtesy
• •Ability to demonstrate and models sensitivity to the cultural background of children, families, and co-workers
• •Ability to ensure that job-related activities follow Glove House policies and procedures, OMH relevant professional association, ethical standards, accreditation standards, and the law
• •Ability to ensure services are delivered in accordance with the Glove House operating modality (TCI)
• •Ability to follow youth's treatment plan, calendars and schedules
• •Ability to assist in providing staff and resident counseling and support in crisis situations,including post-crisis response
• •Ability to model positive behaviors and implement core values
• •Ability to assist with the intake and pre-placement process
• •Ability to coordinate services between the Community Residence and clinic treatment programs or other community resources utilized by the residents
• •Ability to develop relationships with community organizations and resources to improve service access for residents in the program
• •Ability to maintain frequent contact with the children's families and guardians
• •Ability to arrange visits with families and/or siblings
• •Ability to provide services to the child and family and prepare the family for reunification
• •Ability to coordinate and arrange transportation for home visits
• •Ability to ensure eligibility and subsequent payment from SSI, Medicaid, and other third-party funding sources
• •Ability to facilitate psycho-educational classes/groups
• •Ability to train direct care team members regarding components of the individualized treatment plan
• •Ability to participate in treatment team meetings
• •Ability to complete administrative tasks assigned
• •Ability to ensure adequate staff coverage is available and assumes added responsibility for coverage when needed
• •Ability to ensure, complete, and maintain client records and program documentation (self, staff, and youth), such as daily activities, treatment plan progress, progress notes and termination summaries, according to Glove House program and regulatory standards
• •Ability to assure all documentation is completed in a timely fashion (myEvolv, etc.)
• •Ability to actively participate as a team member and attend staff meetings
• •Ability to participate in all Glove House strategic planning goals, including risk management and Quality Assurance plans
• •Ability to protect the privacy of clients
• •Knowledge of Privacy Rule and Security Rule issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)
