Job Summary
Provide case management services to families experiencing homelessness in the Permanent Supportive Housing Program. Initiate intervention strategies to assist clients with accessing necessary services, mainstream benefits, and community resources. Support landlord relationships and client success during their time in the permanent supportive housing program. Conduct on-site work at Lucy's Hearth in Middletown, RI, while visiting families in apartments across Aquidneck Island. Participate in rotating on-call duties as assigned. Requires a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.)
- Experience working in diverse settings with people across all socio-economic spectrums and a wide variety of personalities and roles - staff, residents, local agencies, contractors, lenders, etc.
- Excellent organizational, computer skills, and customer skills
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Auto insurance
