Job Summary
The Case Manager in Foster Care will advocate for optimal placements, develop treatment plans, and ensure compliance with state regulations. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, engaging with foster families, coordinating services, and monitoring documentation. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience with electronic health records, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields, alongside behavioral science coursework. The position involves participation in an on-call schedule and carrying out home visits. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- 7 hours in behavioral sciences, such as social work, psychology, and sociology (or one year of casework experience can be substituted for the 7 hours)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Limited Liability Auto Insurance Coverage of 100/300/100
- Organizational skills
- Written/Oral Communications skills
- Skills necessary to navigate and execute several software’s (i.e. Microsoft offices, Databases, Electronic Health Records, Dashboards, etc.)
- Successful completion of all required Criminal Background checks and drug screenings per state and company regulations
- Ability to adhere to scheduled and unplanned deadlines
- Willingness to travel and attend training
- Successful completion of all required training pertaining to job
