Job Summary
Coordinate necessary evaluations and assessments for each youth while conducting individual, family, and group treatment interventions. Assist clients in communicating needs across multiple life realms and coach social and interpersonal skills through role modeling. Monitor symptoms, functioning, strengths, and problems to help clients overcome obstacles hindering therapeutic goals. Provide education on mental health diagnoses and connect families with external resources by working with parents, other agencies, and support systems. Ensure all ECR/EHR documentation remains current and compliant with agency standards. Requires a high school diploma with five years of experience working with SED children, a bachelor's degree preferred, and the ability to work flexible evening and weekend hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 5 years of experience working with SED children
- A willingness and comfort level in providing community-based services to a diverse population of clients
- A working knowledge of behavioral interventions
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
- Be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license
- Proof of current auto insurance
- No DUI/OVI violations
- No more than 5 points on your MVR
- A clean criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least 6 months experience working with SED children
