Job Summary
Case Manager at CAMBA coordinates comprehensive case management for homeless families, establishing professional relationships, reviewing eligibility documentation, maintaining client files, and inputting data in CARES. Responsibilities include conducting initial intake and psycho-social assessments, developing and updating independent living plans with clients, locating community resources and housing opportunities, scheduling and accompanying clients to appointments, assisting with benefits applications, advocating for client needs, monitoring progress through regular contact and home/office visits, and preparing required reports. The role emphasizes client advocacy, collaboration with external organizations on education, healthcare, housing, and legal issues, and ensuring ongoing client stability and self-sufficiency. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, ability to obtain required clearances (DCJS, SCR, SEL), and may involve bilingual English/Spanish capabilities. Compensation ranges from $46,144 to $50,393 annually. Status: Full-time, 35 hours/week with rotating shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (e.g., B.A., B.S.W.) or Four years of relevant experience, or Associate's and two years equivalent experience.
- Bi-lingual English & Spanish (preferred)
- Pre and/or Post Employment Requirements: ability to obtain/maintain clearances (DCJS, SCR, SEL) and negative TB test results
