Job Summary
Case Manager (Employment Law) supports the Employment Litigation Department as a proactive paralegal, handling filing of legal documents with state and federal courts and arbitration providers, service of pleadings, scheduling and reserving motions, depositions, and court reporters, calendaring deadlines and hearings, drafting standard litigation shells and discovery documents, and maintaining organized client files. Requires strong research, drafting, organizational, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced legal environment; proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, and case management software; Bachelor’s degree preferred and a Paralegal Certificate with minimum 3 years of experience preferred. Bilingual skills are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Paralegal Certificate
- Minimum 3 years experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Understanding of legal language, principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes
- Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team environment
- Professional and empathetic client service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and case management software
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
