Job Summary

Case Manager at the Staten Island Justice Center responsible for monitoring and case management of program participants (ATI) and facilitating referrals to voluntary social services. Responsibilities include maintaining contact with participants, coordinating scheduling of community service, facilitating groups, drafting memos to courts, staying connected with attorneys and providers, managing client and group information in electronic databases and files, tracking compliance to court requirements, participating in supervision and training, and supporting administrative tasks and program development. Requires handling a caseload of short- and long-term mandated clients, working with an interdisciplinary team, and maintaining relationships with outside service providers. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or 3-4 years in social services; experience in court/criminal justice preferred; bilingual English-Spanish preferred; strong organizational and writing skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3-4 years of experience working in a social service setting
  • Experience working in a court or criminal justice setting strongly preferred
  • Bilingual (English-Spanish) is preferred
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
