Job Summary
Develop engaging, person-centered activity schedules and therapeutic programming to promote independence and skill development. Provide direct skills training, assist in curriculum design, and deliver support for activities of daily living. Collect daily data, progress notes, and semi-annual reports while maintaining active communication with families, funders, and team members. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, supervision, and required trainings to ensure services align with organizational values. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and ability to transport individuals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Associate's degree in a related field and 1 year of experience
- high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant human services experience in lieu of a degree
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to person-centered, respectful support practices
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Valid driver's license

- Maintain certifications including First Aid, CPR, Safety Care, and HR/DPPC
- Ensure all services align with Advocates' Human Rights Policy and organizational values
