Job Summary
Case Manager – Crisis (Contract) position in Sundridge, Ontario. Responsible for carrying out case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, crisis intervention and treatment for individuals living with mental illness within a multi-disciplinary team. Develops supports and opportunities to enhance daily living, learning, work, and social participation, engaging the community and building networks with landlords and service providers in Muskoka. Requires ability to work autonomously and in teams, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with the Residential Tenancy Act. Must be willing to work days/evenings, including weekends/holidays. Salary: $29.85-$39.09/hour, contract to March 2027; benefits include HOOPP retirement plan.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a human service/health science discipline relevant to the position
- equivalency considered
- one year of experience with mental illness/developmental disability/substance use issues preferred
- experience in supportive counselling, case management, crisis intervention (preferred)
- familiarity with Residential Tenancy Act
- bilingual in French/English considered an asset
- valid Ontario G or G2 driver’s license with reliable transportation and insurance
