Job Summary
Provide supervision and court monitoring for Supervised Release Program participants by completing check-ins, identifying barriers to compliance, and reinforcing program expectations. Conduct outreach to participants, collateral contacts, and defense attorneys to maximize court attendance, while orchestrating internal and external resource referrals for substance use, mental health, housing, and employment needs. Maintain accurate and timely data entry and case documentation aligned with court reporting obligations, and co-facilitate pro-social and psycho-educational groups in collaboration with clinicians. Submit compliance and mandatory programming notifications to court within designated time frames. Work collaboratively with judges, prosecutors, and site partners to strengthen programming and maximize resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years direct practice experience (e.g., therapeutic or case management)
- High school degree or equivalent degree
- Six years direct practice experience
- Detail-oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Time management skills
- Ability to work effectively independently
- Ability to work as part of a highly interdependent, multi-disciplinary team
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a variety of program stakeholders, including judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, court staff, and site partner agencies
- Openness to work collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds in a culturally-competent manner
- Full-time in-person work
- Weekend and evening hours
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in pretrial, court-based, or criminal legal system
- Masters degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Forensic Psychology
- Experience working within a specialized branch of service provision like substance use treatment, mental health services, co-occurring disorders, or adolescent development
- Experience using trauma-informed and strength-based approaches
- Bilingual (English-Spanish)
