Job Summary
Case Manager for the Franklin Trades Academy supports participants by coaching them to overcome barriers (e.g., transportation, housing), conducts weekly/monthly follow-ups, facilitates group check-ins, and collaborates with unions and employer partners to ensure successful training and employment outcomes. Responsibilities include coordinating with the intake coordinator, maintaining accurate case notes, submitting weekly progress reports, and ensuring records are audit-ready; requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a professional, office-based setting. Regular hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30a–5p with extended hours as workload increases; occasional travel to different work sites and community events. Professional business attire is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field is preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in case management or workforce development
- Willingness and ability to obtain other certifications as necessary
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (MS Suite, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.)
- Experience with videoconferencing systems (e.g., Webex, Zoom, Teams, etc.)
- Ability to travel to different work sites and community events as needed
