Job Summary

Case Manager, Workers Services role based in Woonona with flexibility to work 3 days from home. Responsible for proactive claims management under the Coal Mines Insurance model, collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to develop claims strategies, engaging Account Managers to identify opportunities, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring durable return-to-work outcomes in line with legislation and business rules.

Required Qualifications

  • Qualification in auxiliary health roles or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years Workers Compensation experience
  • Experience in claims management and the insurance industry
  • Clear understanding of the Coal Mines Workers Compensation legislation
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology
  • Competence in Adobe and Microsoft Office (Words/Excel)
  • Ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Qualification in one of the auxiliary health roles (e.g., Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Case Manager)
  • Minimum 2 years Workers Compensation experience

Additional Requirements

  • Permanent roles open only to Australian and New Zealand Permanent Residents or Citizens; visa holders with unlimited right to work in Australia considered for Fixed Term Contracts
