Job Summary

Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to assist with Independent Living Plans, budgeting, and ADL skills while inspecting living spaces for program compliance and physical plant needs. Provide direct services including information, referrals, counseling, crisis intervention, and advocacy, ensuring all participants adhere to program regulations and receive quality housing support. Evaluate client progress against short- and long-term goals, document improper use of agency resources, and submit timely reports to funding agencies. Maintain orderly charts and files while collaborating with DSS and other service providers to fulfill housing requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field
  • Proficiency in English
  • Basic competency in MS Windows, MS Office, and internet usage
  • Ability to formulate simple financial budgets
  • Ability to tour property, walk distances, and climb stairs
  • Ability to prioritize, make appropriate decisions, and judgment calls
  • Ability to relate to the underserved, homeless, and disabled populations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of attention to details
  • Open shifts: [Sunday - Thursday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.] [Tuesday - Saturday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.]

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work
  • Extensive experience working in a related field such as homelessness or housing
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish)
