Job Summary
Conduct intakes, screen clients, and assess their social, emotional, and environmental status in home or institutional settings. Provide supportive counseling, develop care plans, and arrange services while advocating for clients with other agencies. Apply and recertify clients for entitlements, maintain accurate case notes and documentation in the data system, and compile reports. Supervise social work students as needed and actively participate in staff meetings. Requires Mandarin and English fluency, a Bachelor's degree, and one year of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Mandarin & English speaking
- One year related experience and/or training
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other technology
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on treating clients with respect and dignity
- Able to multi-task and work independently with great attention to detail
