• •Fluency in both written and oral communication and comprehension in Spanish
• •Associate degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or another related field
• •3 years of relevant work experience
• •CCSF Community Health Worker Certificate
• •2 – 4 years of relevant work experience
• •High school diploma/GED
• •4 years of relevant work experience
• •Experience working in integrated service teams using person-centered harm-reduction and trauma-informed approaches
• •Background working with unhoused individuals
• •Effective communication skills (written and oral)
• •Excellent organizational and time management skills
• •Strong administrative and organizational skills
• •Excellent charting, recordkeeping, and professional writing skills
• •Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• •Experience documenting services into electronic record systems
• •Ability to problem solve and quickly assess/respond to a variety of situations, including medical emergencies, psychiatric emergencies, conflict resolution and de-escalation interventions, as well as other types of crises
• •Cultural humility in a diverse program and staff population
• •Knowledge of and sensitivity to adults with substance abuse, domestic violence, incarceration, HIV/AIDS, mental health including co-occurring disorders, and history of trauma
• •Secure fingerprint image screening
• •Annual TB screening
• •Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, which may include lifting up to 30 lbs

• •Communicate effectively and model integrity, fairness, and ethical business practices

• •Direct service delivery to participants at ECS program locations
