Job Summary
Case Manager responsible for coordinating services to address disaster-survivor unmet needs, serving as primary contact for affected individuals, and supporting recovery planning. On-site role based in Charleston, WV, with duties including building relationships with community members and stakeholders, representing the organization at events, developing outreach strategies, gathering feedback, managing community engagement programs, handling inquiries, and preparing reports on engagement outcomes. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel; 1 year of publicly facing case management experience and an Associate’s degree in a related field are required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in social work, public administration, communications, or a related field
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in publicly facing case management
- Experience compiling and entering data, preferred
- Experience in event planning and public speaking is a plus
- Must be able to clear a criminal background check
