Job Summary
Monitor service delivery to ensure timely Radiologist study reporting and manage worklist queues. Expedite cases through various systems, follow up on unread and stat cases, and escalate pending cases over 24 hours to management or the Chief Radiologist. Redirect Radiologist workload as needed and assist with outreach to ordering physicians and facilities for prior imaging records. This full-time remote role supports Akumin's outpatient radiology and oncology services, ensuring accurate and timely diagnoses for patients with personal injuries.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Excel and Word
- Must be highly motivated, productive, accurate and analytical
- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
- Medical terminology familiarity
- Full time remote role
