Job Summary
Track evaluation and IEP timelines, prepare draft documents, and schedule meetings to ensure timely, compliant processes for PK–12 students with disabilities. Maintain accurate student files, coordinate translation services, and facilitate IEP meetings while modeling trauma-informed communication with families and staff. Support service logs, progress updates, and data collection into district systems, and mentor novice teachers in case management routines and compliance expectations. Assist with lesson development, differentiation strategies, and multidisciplinary evaluation teams during staffing shortages or high-need periods. This role strengthens MTSS/RTI systems and culturally responsive family engagement within a small non-profit organization dedicated to helping charter schools succeed.
Required Qualifications
- Current Colorado teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful experience as a special education case manager in PK–12 settings
- Demonstrated expertise in instructional practice, service delivery models, data collection, and IEP compliance
- Experience providing direct instruction, lesson development, and student evaluation
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Experience facilitating IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Experience with family outreach, culturally responsive communication, and community resource navigation
- Location: State-Wide - MUST BE A COLORADO RESIDENT
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field strongly preferred
