Case Management Supervisor (Bilingual)

Job Summary

Oversee the case management team for Unaccompanied Children foster care programming, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and agency timelines while maintaining a positive work environment. Administer assessments, coordinate services, and provide emergency on-call support to ensure high-quality case management for assigned youth. Develop treatment plans, progress notes, and incident reports, while maintaining accurate documentation on foster children in care. Schedule and attend weekly staff meetings, supervisor consultations, and required court hearings, and accompany youth to family unifications, which may include air travel. Maintain effective communication with external stakeholders and community agencies to ensure case continuity. Participate in the on-call rotation, including evening and weekend shifts, while attending required training and background checks.

Required Qualifications

  • English/Spanish (Fluency Required)
  • Master's degree in social work
  • Licensure in the state of Maryland (LMSW or LCSW or LCSW-C)
  • Experience in child welfare/case management
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Evening and as needed weekend availability
  • Up to 25% travel
  • Must be willing and able to clear a criminal background check for the past seven (7) years
  • Must be willing and able to request and clear Child Abuse and Neglect background check in all states lived within previous five (5) years, updated yearly
  • Must be willing and able to obtain FBI fingerprint check every five (5) years
  • Must undergo an enhanced federal background check following hire
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • MVA check free of major infractions for the last seven (7) years
  • Proof of adequate insurance coverage in compliance with ORR requirements
  • Must clear a State of Maryland Department of Public Safety and Corrections Services screening
  • Must complete a bi-annual physical exam and TB testing
  • Must maintain proof of childhood and annual vaccinations, including: MMR, varicella, Tdap, and influenza
  • Must be CPR, First Aid, and AED certified upon hire or within two weeks of hire
