Job Summary
Lead, evaluate, and manage case management and youth services for residents ages 18-22 transitioning to independence. Provide professional supervision to a team of case managers and advisors, overseeing grant-funded programs and ensuring accurate client records meet state and funding standards. Coordinate daily operations, assess program design, and shape transition service goals while maintaining safety through conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques. Mentor staff, facilitate team building, and recruit new case managers. Serve as the on-site senior leader and RAOD for Crisis Shelter management, providing administrator on-call support for medical and community issues. Drive agency vehicles to escort youth to appointments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Behavior Analysis, or related field
- Two (2) years of relevant experience in a leadership or team-support role
- Two years of case management experience working with at risk youth
- Must be certified and up to date in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training
- Must be a self-starter and team player
- Must have demonstrated ability to maintain order and exercise appropriate judgement in crisis situations
- Must have the physical ability to intervene in critical or emergency situations
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of conflict resolution skills
- Sensitivity to culturally diverse populations
- Computer literacy
- Valid FL driver's license
- Good driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs
- Must be able to bend, sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Proficiency in usage of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based software
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience in case management or a related field
- Two years of case management experience working with at risk youth
