Job Summary

Provide life insurance producers with advanced planning and illustration support to generate sales. Conduct case research and development, understanding client needs for income protection, estate planning, and replacement. Review approved products, select carriers, and design solutions that best fit the client. Create advanced sales marketing tools and prepare presentations requiring compliance approval. Act as a liaison between financial institutions, agents, and carrier home offices to facilitate sales. Maintain in-depth knowledge of approved carriers, including new products, changes, repricing, and riders. Communicate regularly with the sales team, wholesalers, and internal desks to ensure open product updates.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • Experience with advanced case design, research and complex cases
  • Experience creating marketing tools to drive sales
  • Solid understanding of various tax and legal rules, as it pertains to life insurance
  • Excellent writing and technical research skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Knowledge of carrier life products, specific advanced sales concepts and illustration software
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a self-directed fashion
  • Experience with PCs in a Windows environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional designation (CLU, CFP, ChFC, CPA, or related practices including law)
  • Insurance brokerage experience
